Ron Rivera

Bloomberg — As head coach of the NFL Washington Commanders, Ron Rivera continues a decade-long tradition of Latinos guiding teams in the powerful American league. Like Tom Flores or Jim Mora, as well as Brian Flores, Rivera is an ambassador for Latinos in US professional sports. At 60, the coach celebrates 25 years since he debuted as a coach at various levels, from defensive coach to his current position. Rivera has one Super Bowl ring (XX) when under legendary coach Mike Ditka the Bears defeated the New England Patriots. He also became the first Puerto Rican to achieve this accomplishment.
