Ana Cabral-Gardner

Ana Cabral-Gardner is CEO and chairman of the board of Sigma Lithium, a mining company that has made a name for itself with its Grota do Cirilo lithium project in the Jequitinhonha Valley. The company recently made its first shipment to China, an important step toward a future place among the world’s top five lithium producers. Gardner is co-founder of A10 Investimentos, a venture capital boutique and major shareholder of Sigma that was created when she was pregnant with her daughter. She has more than 30 years of experience in the world’s leading investment banks in New York, London and São Paulo, and has been involved in more than 150 capital markets and M&A transactions, including the privatization of Vale.
