María Martínez

As Cisco’s COO since March 2021, Puerto Rico-born María Martinez is responsible for the company’s operations and transformation. She oversees functions dedicated to accelerating innovation and growth. Martínez has over 35 years of leadership experience in various technology sectors, including software, services, hardware, and network technology. Prior to Cisco, she worked at Salesforce and held executive positions at tech giants such as Microsoft, Motorola, and AT&T. She also served as CEO of Embrace Networks, an Internet of Things (IoT) startup.
