One of the 30 top restaurants to do business in Latin America

Why choose it: El Cielo Bogotá, located in Zone G (the city’s Zona Rosa), is close to the capital’s business center and is surrounded by the hotels preferred by business travelers. In its 13 years since opening, it has focused on organizing events and business meetings. Its tasting menus offer a novel experience for people in the business world to relax and enjoy a good atmosphere with their colleagues. The multi-course menu is based on modern Colombian cuisine and helps to break the ice. El Cielo’s atmosphere is calm, in a well decorated space bedecked with plants. Its main lounge has a wall of vegetation that imbues it with a sense of tranquility and relaxation. In addition, it stands out for its liquor offering.

Business tips: The restaurant has a main dining room, two VIP rooms for small and private meetings, and the chef’s table (next to the kitchen). The latter allows you to view the entire preparation process framed in a library of flavors that is usually the private office of chef Juan Manuel Barrientos. All have been used for business meetings of all kinds. Even audiovisual aids are available for the presentation of a project, while cocktails, dishes or desserts can be designed in a variety of colors and using a particular logo or color scheme of a company for corporate events.

Average cost per person (without drinks): COP$250,000 (USD 50).
