Orlando Dovat has been president of Zonamerica since 1990 and is one of Uruguay’s largest duty-free zone operators. In 2023, the company announced investments of US$100 million in warehousing and real estate projects. Zonamerica also plans to carry out real estate projects worth some US$100 million by 2023. The company is a leader within the logistics and global services industry, a booming sector in Uruguay.
