Anya Taylor-Joy

Born to an Argentine-Scottish father and a British-Spanish mother, she spent her first six years in Buenos Aires and maintains a strong link to her Latin roots, something she has made clear in her various media appearances, especially with references to her predilection for Argentine food. Taylor-Joy has been a regular presence in TV and film since the last decade, but she rose to global fame with starring roles in Peaky Blinders and Queen’s Gambit, for which she won the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Miniseries in 2021.
