Mike Krieger

Brazilian Mike Krieger was the co-founder, along with Kevin Systrom, of one of the world’s most popular social networks, Instagram, in 2010. The platform was bought two years later by Facebook and the software engineer remained as CTO (Chief Technology Officer) until 2018, when he left the company. A graduate of Stanford University, Krieger, who has US citizenship, developed projects at the beginning of the pandemic, such as a statistical model to track the evolution of the number of covid cases in each US state.
