The Guatemalan co-founder of the language app Duolingo became a global figure in the new ways of learning. Duolingo just debuted on the Nasdaq stock exchange, valued at USD 5 billion. Duolingo is used by more than 300 million people worldwide and saw a crucial increase during the pandemic, when more users downloaded the app to take advantage during the lockdowns. In the first few hours of its listing, Duolingo maintained its value of about USD138 per share.
