She has been the director of GeoPark Colombia since August 2012 and is the president of the Colombian Petroleum Association (ACP). She graduated in law from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia; and she has a Master of Business Law from the same university and an LLM from Georgetown University. Prior to her arrival at the oil company, she worked for nine years as general manager of the Hupecol Group, she led the development of the Caracara field and the construction of the Jaguar-Santiago pipeline.
