The completely online supermarket Merqueo was founded by entrepreneurs Miguel McAllister and José Calderón, also precursors of Domicilios.com, which in turn was acquired by Delivery Hero and recently by the Brazilian iFood. With operations in Mexico, Colombia and Brazil, the company manages the entire supply chain and develops technology for e-commerce sales. “We operate our own dark stores and dark warehouses, in which we receive, store, manage, enlist and deliver from the supplier to the client’s home.” The company, which last year tripled its sales compared to 2019, presented the model of Fast deliveries in 15 minutes under the concept of Merqueo ULTRA.
