She began her professional career more than 15 years ago as an intern at Novartis in Barcelona, since then she has risen to positions in countries such as Switzerland, Australia and Chile, to direct the pharmaceutical company’s operations in Mexico, her home country. In 2019 she was appointed president of the Mexican Association of Pharmaceutical Research Industries (AMIIF) a position she held until September 2020. Recently, she assumed the general management of the pharma division of Novartis in Brazil.
