Her skills led her to apply disruptive strategies in the financial management of the company in Mexico and Colombia, which allowed her to increase sales in both markets, until she was appointed CEO and president of Renault, in August 2018. This was how she became the first woman to lead the automaker in the country and the fourth in the industry. The pandemic was not entirely detrimental to López, who managed to pull the brand forward with sales of small delivery models and electric vehicles, as well as alliances with other companies such as Hertz and NICE. This placed Renault Mexico with a 3.08% market share at the end of June 2021.
