  • Sector: Finance
  • Company: Bolsa BIVA
  • Country: México

Since September 2018, she’d been leading the Institutional Stock Exchange (BIVA), the second stock market center in Mexico and the first direct competitor of the Mexican Stock Exchange after more than 40 years. Ariza was the CEO of the Mexican Association of Private Capital and seeks to push innovative businesses to the public market. Upon taking the reins, she made the commitment to list 50 new companies in the stock market, although today she faces a drought of public offerings and large company delisting. Among her achievements, the IPO of a photovoltaic solar energy company stands out, the placement of the first Covid-19 social bond, the largest of its kind, and the promotion of initiatives to attract financial intermediaries linked to the agri-food industry.
