Heir to the Bemberg family, Carlos was president of Cervecería Quilmes, one of the largest brewing companies in Argentina, founded by Otto Bemberg in 1888. Today he is the head of Miguens Bemberg Holdings and together with his brothers leads the world’s largest lemon exporter, Citrícola San Miguel, in which they are partners of the Otero Monsegur family. They are also shareholders of Central Puerto, the largest private power generator in the country. This year, Citrícola San Miguel signed an agreement for the sale of its fresh fruit operations in South Africa and Peru.
