The US economic recovery has been a factor that has boosted GCC’s business more than its operations in Mexico. The renewed activity in the construction of streets, housing and buildings in cities in the neighboring country has benefited Grupo Cementos de Chihuahua, which even expanded its plant in Texas. In Odessa, GCC invested US$750 million in order to have, by mid-2025, an additional capacity of one million metric tons, with lower greenhouse gas emissions. Federico Terrazas also made his debut as a business advisor to the new governor of Chihuahua, emphasizing the family’s legacy in the state.
