Nicolás Jodal

Nicolás Jodal is the founder of GeneXus, one of Uruguay’s leading software companies. The low-code platform was acquired this year by Argentine unicorn Globant, in one of the main M&A moves in Uruguay in 2022. During the pandemic, Jodal created, in conjunction with the Uruguayan government, the app Coronavirus Uy, a system providing information, medical care, and COVID-19 exposure alerts for residents of Uruguay. In June 2021 it also added to its functions the generation of a digital vaccination certificate.
