Olimpia Coral marked a before and after in putting a stop to digital violence in Mexico. Her personal experience led her to lead a movement that culminated in the Olimpia Law, which legally recognizes crimes that violate people’s sexual privacy in digital media in most states in Mexico. In the last year, the Olimpia Law was used to defend both women and men in states such as Coahuila, Sonora, Baja California and Tlaxcala. Its movement could break down borders, in the face of a proposal that seeks to take the law to the Argentine Congress.
