Paz Austin

Passionate about wine and the Mexican countryside, Austin has been a Director of the Mexican Wine Council for the past three years. Previously, she was director of the Mexican Beer Association (Acermex). During her tenure, the association increased from nine affiliates to 120. Since her leadership of the Mexican Wine Council, Austin has managed to increase Mexican wine consumption by 50%. Previously, international consumption was 70%, with a per capita consumption of 1.2 liters. This has been achieved by working hand-in-hand with agricultural producers.
