Roberto Setubal is co-chairman of the Board of Directors of Itaú Unibanco. He holds a bachelor’s degree in production engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (USP) and a master’s degree in engineering from Stanford University. He started his career at the bank in 1980, holding several positions until he was appointed CEO in 1994. He is a founding member of the executive committee of Fundação Itaú Social, which develops initiatives focused on education in partnership with UNICEF and other NGOs.
