Since it was founded in 2015, Rappi has faced several transformations in its business model and is now a a unicorn offering multiple services in nine countries and more than 250 cities in Latin America. In Colombia, a country where it is present in more than 40 cities, the platform controls RappiPay together with Banco Davivienda, which this year achieved the authorization to operate as a lender by the Financial Superintendence of Colombia (SFC), consolidating itself as the fintech vertical of the superapp.
