The Council of the Americas has been an influence for generations who study the relationship between public policy and business from the US and Latin America. The dialogue schemes that Susan Segal has created among experts, entrepreneurs, analysts, and agencies have led some to call her “the most influential woman in the Americas.” Segal is a fierce believer in Latin America’s potential in several areas, not only as a breadbasket for the world but also as one of the most promising frontiers for technology and innovation. This former banker sits on several boards (MercadoLibre, ScotiaBank) and is unstoppable in the promotion of female leadership in the region. Segal is now in her 20th year as leader of the Council and seems unstoppable at that.
