Bia Haddad

Bia Haddad became the most successful female Brazilian tennis player since Gustavo Kuerten, in the early 2000s, and Maria Esther Bueno, in the 1950s and 1960s. In June, she reached the semifinals of Roland Garros, her best result in a Grand Slam tournament. As a result, she entered the Top 10 of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) world rankings for the first time. She then reached the round of 16 at Wimbledon. She has become one of the most outstanding Brazilian female athletes of the moment in an individual sport.
