Christian Daes is one of the co-founders of Tecnoglass, based in Barranquilla and internationally recognized for manufacturing high quality architectural glass and windows for the residential and commercial construction industry. Daes has chaired the company since its founding in 1994 and as of 2013 serves as the operating president. The businessman has been key in the expansion of the company to foreign markets, growing the client portfolio that already exceeds 900 in North, Central and South America, according to the company’s website. Today the firm is ranked number one in the region and the second to serve the US market.
