The company recently closed a US$65 million Series B round for expansion in Latin America, which was led by Hans Tung, managing partner of global venture capital firm GGV Capital. In the markets in which it operates, Frubana obtained “a 6 times higher growth in the number of users, tripled sales and expanded its product offer with new categories such as proteins, basic products and packaged throughout 2020 and continuing in the first quarter of 2021”.
