Nicolás Caputo is part of his family’s third generation at the helm of the construction company that his grandfather created in 1938: Caputo S.A. In 1983, he founded the electronic company Mirgor S.A. and appointed his close friend, former president Mauricio Macri, as director. He entered the political world because of Macri. He was vicepresident of the PRO party and a main advisor to Macri, who during his presidency appointed him consul in Singapore. His businesses also include stakes in Edesur and Central Puerto. In November 2019 he announced his departure from TGN and RPM Gas.
