Teresa Vendramini, or Teka Vendramini as she is better known, assumed the presidency of the Brazilian Rural Society (SRB) in 2020. She is the first woman to lead the century-old entity that represents the sector. Born in Adamantina, in the interior of São Paulo, she is a sociologist and cattle rancher, owner of the Jacutinga farm, in Flórida Paulista, in the interior of São Paulo, a property that used to have coffee, grains and is now dedicated to cattle production.
