In April 2019, he took over the presidency of the Board of Directors of Arca Continental, one of the largest Coca-Cola bottlers in Latin America. A year later, he said the Monterrey-based company faced “one of the most challenging years” due to the pandemic’s impact on consumption patterns. 2020 recorded a 4% drop in consolidated volumes, although it was able to recover from this with the implementation of price and efficiency initiatives to save the increase in profitability year on year. Arca Continental is currently implementing innovative initiatives such as point-of-sale digitalization and sustainability programs.
