The co-director of Banco de la República assumed the role in February 2021, in the midst of the country’s economic reactivation, after the ravages caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. This year, high inflation levels are among the main concerns for the Issuer. Taboada, who holds a master’s degree in economics and public administration in international development, has worked at the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
