João Marques da Cruz

João Marques da Cruz is president of EDP Brasil, a company in the electricity sector controlled by Portuguese company EDP, Energias de Portugal. He joined the group in 2007 as a member of the board of directors of EDP Internacional, of which he was also president, and was a member of the board of directors of EDP Renováveis. In 2021, EDP Brasil reported net profit of R$2.2 billion, 43% higher than in the previous year.
