He is the CEO and founder of financial services app Ualá. Created in 2017 with the aim of improving financial inclusion in Latin America, it aims to offer a branchless and lower-cost experience relative to traditional banking. In 2021 the company became a unicorn, reaching a valuation of US$2.45 billion following a Series D round led by Softbank and Tencent. Ualá has more than 4 million customers in Argentina. In May, the fintech acquired Empretienda, an e-commerce platform, and weeks later completed the transaction to close the purchase of digital bank Wilobank.
