Virgilio Martínez and Pía León continue to achieve recognition as chefs globally, and their Central restaurant in 2022 made second place in the prestigious list of ‘The World’s 50 Best Restaurants’, representing Peruvian cuisine. Pía León, named best female chef in the world in 2021, is at the helm of the restaurant ‘Kjolle’, which ranks 68th among the best restaurants globally. In addition, both have other culinary projects in Peru such as Mater Iniciativa and MIL.
