Javier Olivan

Olivan is Meta Platforms COO, overseeing the firm’s business teams, as well as the infrastructure and core products of the social network’s family of applications. The executive, who grew up in a small village in the Pyrenees mountains of Spain, joined the company formerly known as Facebook in 2007 and served as chief growth officer. Prior to that, he was a product manager at Siemens Mobile, where he led a cross-functional team responsible for the development and market launch of handset devices.
