Divanir Higino is the president of Cocamar, one of the most important cooperatives in Brazil, with headquarters in Maringá (state of Paraná) and annual revenues of 6.9 billion reais in 2020 (US$1.33 billion). He built his professional career in the cooperative itself in 1978 as an office worker at the age of 14. He held various positions until becoming secretary-director in 2006 until 2013. In 2015, he assumed the presidency of Cocamar.
