Monica Michel has a 13-year track record in Diageo, one of the world’s largest producers of spirits beers. During the last two years she led the tequila division and the Don Julio brand globally, achieving double-digit sales growth in 2020 and standing out against the contraction of other Diageo star products such as Johnnie Walker whiskey and Guinness beer. In July 2021, she was promoted to Regional Senior Vice President of Marketing and Innovation for Diageo in Mexico.
