Ailton Krenak

Ailton Krenak is a writer, researcher, ecologist and indigenous leader. Krenak is an organizer of the Rainforest Peoples Alliance, which brings together riverine and indigenous communities of the Amazon, a recipient of the Order of Cultural Merit of the Presidency of the Republic, an honorary doctorate from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, in Minas Gerais, and one of the main Brazilian and international indigenous leaders.
