She is the first woman to assume the leadership of the Mexican Solar Energy Association, a responsibility that she combines with the vice-presidency of corporate affairs at Saavi Energía. She has been a vocal advocate of clean energy certificates (CEL) in the face of regulatory changes by Mexican regulators. She believes that energy with attributes such as sufficient, clean and low-cost energy is necessary to face the challenges of the coming years.
