She is the global commercial director of Draslovka Mining Solutions, following Chemours’ sale of its mining solutions business in December 2021, in a deal valued at US$521 million. Márquez was appointed this year as president of the National Chemical Industry Association, a body that represents 95% of private chemical production in the country. Her commitment under this mandate, which will end in 2025, is to improve the sector’s competitiveness.
