David Arana is one of Mexico’s pioneering fintech entrepreneurs and founder of Konfío, an institution focused on offering financing to small and medium-sized enterprises. To date, the company has provided financing for more than MXN$17 billion (around US$1 billion) to more than 70,000 companies in Mexico. So far in 2023, Konfío has focused on renewing lines of credit, for more than MXN$5 billion (around US$290 million), with lending institutions such as J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs and Gramercy.
