Edson Franco

Edson Franco has been CEO of Zurich Brazil since 2016 and president of Fenaprevi, the association of private pension companies, since April 2022. He has worked at the Swiss-based insurer since 2015. In 2011, Zurich partnered with Banco Santander. The company is one of Brazil’s largest insurers, with insurance premium revenues of 12.1 billion reais (US$2.49 billion) in 2022, according to a ranking by Sincor-SP, a business entity for insurance brokerage professionals. Prior to joining the company, Franco was chief investment officer and head of pensions and capitalization at Santander Brazil, and served as CEO of Real Tokio Marine Vida e Previdência.
