Gustavo Salinas

Gustavo Salinas has been president of Toyota Argentina since 2022. In his first year at the helm of the country’s main automotive company, he had to face the country’s macroeconomic difficulties, with severe restrictions on imports. In June 2023 the company announced a US$50 million investment for the production of the HIACE utility vehicle in its two versions, for which 200 new jobs will be created. Salinas expects to export 150,000 vehicles from the Zárate plant this year.
