This year ‘el niño de Medellín’ celebrates 15 years of his musical career, since 2007 when he became known with his first single ‘Éxtasis’, from where he went on to consolidate himself in the music industry with big hits such as ‘Sin Compromiso’, ‘Ginza’, ‘Mi gente’ and ‘Colores’. JBalvin has won 11 SHOCK Awards, four LOS40 Music Awards, 17 Nuestra Tierra Awards, eight Heat Latin Music Awards, five Latin American Music Awards, 11 Lo Nuestro Awards, eight Billboard Latin Music Awards and five Latin Grammy Awards. He was the first Colombian artist to headline the Estéreo Picnic Festival and also broke the event’s attendance record with more than 40,000 people turning out to see him.
