Javier Goñi

Javier Goñi is CEO of Ledesma, a well-known agribusiness company in Argentina with a 115-year history. Previously, he was the head of Alpargatas. Since 2017, he has led Ledesma, a firm that stands out for its leadership in sugar and paper manufacturing, as well as for its presence in the fruit, citrus juice, alcohol, bioethanol, meat and cereal markets. The company employs more than 6,000 people, most of whom work in Jujuy, the province where Ledesma was born and where it has 40,000 hectares devoted to harvesting the firm’s main raw material: sugarcane.
