He is the CEO of Grupo Argos and was the “third musketeer” in the defense of Colombian conglomerate GEA. Now he is moving forward with the procedures to execute the agreement reached with Gilinski for Nutresa to not take a stake in the Sura and Argos businesses. In addition, at Grupo Argos he led in the last year the creation of an airport platform of $1.4 billion (US$4.16 billion) between Odinsa, one of its subsidiaries and Macquarie Asset Management. He grduated in civil engineering from the School of Engineering of Antioquia and completed a specialization in the cement industry in the UK. He participated in the CEOs’ management program at Kellogg School of Management and in the Supply Chain Strategies program at Stanford University.
