Jorge Moll Filho is a cardiologist who built one of the largest healthcare groups in the country, Rede D’Or São Luiz. He is the CEO and main shareholder of the network, which launched in 1977 as Labs D’Or, of which Moll Filho was one of the founders. The group has made a leap forward in recent years and, in particular, since the company’s stock market debut in December 2020, which moved 11.4 billion reais (US$2.328 billion) and brought it to a market value at the time of more than 110 billion reais (US$22.465 billion). In 2022, the company bought the SulAmérica insurance company.
