As of 2022, Juana Barceló is the new president of Barrick Pueblo Viejo. With over 14 years’ experience, she also serves as Executive Director of Government Affairs for Central America and the Caribbean. Her career at Barrick Gold Corporation began in 2009, and since then she has contributed to the economic and social development of the communities linked to the operation, in addition to promoting the empowerment of women in the mining sector.
