Karen Santos co-founded edtech UX for Minas Pretas in 2019 to “change the face of technology” by focusing on connecting Black women with technology and user experience. Santos has a degree in graphic design and UX (user experience) and in 2022 was voted a LinkedIn top voice, as well as one of the 50 brightest names of 2021 in digital marketing. She is also part of the Lemann Foundation’s leadership network and is an advisor to Nubank’s Nu Institute.
