Luis Javier Castro

He has been a founding partner of Mesoamerica Investments since 1998, and leads this private equity firm that has led investments in Latin America for the past 25 years. The sectors irrigated under the philosophy of “investments with conscience for a Latin America with abundance” are renewable energies, restaurants, telecommunications, among others. Castro defines himself as an “entrepreneur and activist”. He is founder of ‘Yo Emprendedor’, an NGO dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship in Central America. In addition, he is CEO of Alejandría, a company that is focused on building companies that find solutions to the “great yearnings of humanity”.
