Marina Willisch is a director and global tax advisor for General Motors, based in Detroit, U.S. Until 2022, she was GM’s Vice President of Institutional Relations, Communications and ESG for South America. She was one of the executives in charge of the electrification strategy, in addition to leading the diversity area. A lawyer, she was tax director of the German automaker Mercedes-Benz and, in 2022, she became vice-president of Anfavea, the country’s association of vehicle manufacturers, the first woman to hold this position. She left Anfavea in October 2022 due to changes in GM’s board of directors.
