Max David Michel

For almost 20 years, he has headed El Puerto de Liverpool, Mexico’s leading department store chain. Last year, he acquired a stake in U.S.-based Nordstrom as part of a diversification strategy. Its business, which includes brands such as Suburbia, will integrate the management of Toys ‘R’ Us toy stores this year to protect its presence in the segment.
