Mónica Aspe

This year she will celebrate five years at the helm of AT&T’s operations in Mexico. The political scientist has characterized her tenure by her calls for a level playing field in the country’s telecommunications sector. Aspe sees potential for Mexico through nearshoring, but recognizes that there are still challenges stemming from insufficient public investment and entrusting essential industries to public and private monopolies.
